Thanks for the information re the temperature drop between the
grouphead bolt and the puck.  (Must be nice to have the Scace
device!)  I'll figure in the extra 4 degree F drop to the p/f...

BTW re using a foil deflector, my intention in using a blind p/f was
not to pressurize the grouphead.  I intend to keep the p/f bolt off
and snake a thermocouple into the hole, running the water nearly at
atmospheric pressure.  The thought in using a blind p/f for the
measurement was to simply ensure that the thermocouple will be
immersed in water as soon as possible vs. a mixture of air and water.
