My letter sent to retailer. I will let you know how it all turns out
and just who the retailer is soon.

" Hello,

This morning I was woken to a frightful bang as my Expobar IV tank
over-pressured. I came down stairs to it venting. All the cups on the
top of the machine had been blown off so I imagine the tank ruptured.
It was leaking water everywhere, had a strong smell of burning and
showed a pressure of over 2 bars on the boiler (upper gauge, and it
had been venting a few minutes). Should be noted steam in the gauge. I
shut it down, opened the hot water tap to relieve pressure. After
doing so I turned it back on noted that the PID showed a temperature
of 245 F (I keep it at 202 F) and it started to leak as soon as the
pump began to fill the tank.

I figure as the machine is new I am best not even opening it and start
poking around, and messing with the warranty. I do have the original
box as stated in your red carpet warranty.

Awaiting your response as to how we may deal with this clearly
defective machine. A real shock as I have woken to expecting a perfect
cup of espresso every morning now.

All the best

John. "
