@judge I'd like to clarify a few of the comments you made. I have a "plumbed in" IV-R which I love. No problems whatsoever in about 1 year of ownership.
I use reverse osmosis water in an 11L container which is on a small shelf below the Brewtus. No need to actually plumb it in. Just drop the input water line into the jug. I drain into a 4L pastic milk jug that is on the same shelf. All pretty compact, easy to set up and move, if required. The drain tray needs almost no cleaning whatsoever. I think I've only cleaned it once and that was because I accidentally dumped a puck through the grate. I don't know about sound volume. I'd say the pump is pretty loud, actually. Much louder than I anticipated. But I haven't heard the vibration pump so I can't compare. I'm sure all types of Brewtus IV will make equally good coffee and steam. And, with a good grinder, the expresso really is very, very good. I have no hesitation in recommending this machine. peter On Mar 22, 11:03 am, Judge <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello Tegespresso, > > I have a Brewtus IV, after hearing several complaints and having a > machine go on me, I would suggest making sure you purchase from a > reputable supplier.
