sc00bs.... I ended buying the IV-R and it arrived last Thursday. I am really pumped excited about the machine and spent the entire weekend learning the little nuances about it.
I am really happy I went with the rotary model, but even happier it is a plumbable model. Having it plumb vs. a reservoir modle like my previous espresso machine is like heaven. I also have it draining into a 2.5gl jug under under the cabinet. Total worth it if you have the ability to plumb direct. I already had a full blown commercial type RO setup for my saltwater fish tank and it generates about 5-7 TDS; which has proven to be plenty not to trigger the steam and/or brew boiler to shut down. I am really enjoying the machine and literally blows away my Gaggia Classic that it replaced. I am looking forward to being a positive contributor with this Google Group and will enjoy reading and learning as much as I can. BTW: I went right for the bottomless PF and boy it that fun to pull shots on! BBTW: frothing milk has been a big learning curve for me and so far that has been the biggest challenge. Many thanks....Tony On Monday, April 2, 2012 2:56:19 AM UTC-4, sc00bs wrote: > Have also owned both and am with Craig on this one.
