in my view, having owned both, the answer is "yes". A bit of history might clarify "Todd". There is a company in upstate NY (US of A) called Importika that imports foreign manufactured products and distributes them to retailers and sub distributors. The Salzman family which owns the company were early into using the Internet to sell directly to the widely scattered consumer market for high quality coffee related products. They formed a division called Whole Latte Love (WLL) under the direction of Todd Salzman, who happens to be an espresso afficianodo. They are the master distributor for Gaggia, Expobar, and a few other lines and are sub distributors for many other lines. Their Internet based activities try to be especially user friendly.
In the mid-90's, when "good" home espresso machines were either a multi-group restaurant machine (typically used) or a Silvia or Gaggia Classic, the manufacturers of commercial machines began offering small HX machines as a next step up. Shortly after the millennium, Todd Salzman became convinced that there was an unserved market for a good quality dual boiler machine for the home user. He began working with Expobar to modify one of their platforms to meet the constraints of the home market such as 15 amp circuits, etc. The Brewtus is the result. Todd keeps an eye on this site and occasionally jumps in with his expert advice. Your question is not one that he would be likely to comment on. However, when someone says "I' m not getting the support I expect from WLL" they are likely to get an email from Todd with his personal number and either the answer or a request to call so he can take care of it. I would recommend that you visit their site and that you consider buying directly from them if you wish. They support their customers effectively and well. Just my opinion.
