Well, I haven't seen you post anything critisizing penguins, so the
analogy isn't quite as good as it might be.

Besides (and this is where Julia totally loses all semblance of
seriousness),

a) Why do you care about a Pittsburg hockey team?

b) It's a good thing you haven't said anything bad about penguins,
because they're sensitive to my needs

c) What did Opus ever do to you?

OK, that's all the silliness on the penguin topic that I can come up
with right now. I can explain any of a), b) or c) that you want
clarification on, although someone else might enjoy beating me to it
(and if so, please feel welcome to do so).

BTW, I'd given some thought to the low-wage worker issue, and if I can
find the time to post something coherent about it this weekend, then I
will. I won't post unless I can be coherent, and between the immediate
sleep dep, having to administer a few tests to someone taking a
correspondence course and someone else coming to see if the TV can be
repaired tomorrow, I don't know how much coherent time I'll have -- but
I'll try.

        Julia

who's losing it a little, yes, but at least she's reasonably cheerful
about it today
