How can I explain this to you? This Is Very Small Country. Almost every
family have or had a soldier, or several soldiers. Soldiers who have
mobiles, soldiers who come home from time to time and when they are not home
at weekends - most often than not family would go to army base to visit
their soldier. Spies *do* have too easy life here. :-(
Jeroen asked

You don't "make" everything public. <SHRUG> People talk.
<<The exact locations of all its military installations?>>
You have a relative or a friend there. He is staying weekend. You come to
visit him. Most army bases have guest area at front gate.
<<The exact number of troops and weapons in every location?>>
Those who serve there - regular or reservists know it. Both have friends in
other units or bases, both talk about their service.
<<The detailed plans for an invasion of its neighbours? Its defense plans in
case one of its neighbors decides to attack? All the details of its plans on
how to deal with Palestinians in the Occupied
Territories?>>
Probably. No, I don't know those things, but I'll probably, know whom to
ask.

Our military commanders are working with what they have. In great Soviet
Union soldiers were leaving their homes for 2.5 years and served at the
other side of the country. There is no "other side" here. The saying is "In
Israel every man is soldier and every soldier is a man"
