Yeah, well, there are pockets of sanity, anyway -- on the state school
board recently, an incumbent viewed as that sort of person was voted out
in the primary.  Well, in a runoff, at least, but still before it went
down to one Republican on the main ballot.  (And darn it if the upstart
wasn't running unopposed this time!)

There are people who vote in Republican primaries in Texas that don't
want the state to run into the same sort of laughingstock problems
Kansas had a little while back....
