No, it consists of CHALLENGING guys like you to come up with ONE great accomplishment of Post WWI whose intellectual roots lie within the GOP. You have all failed this challenge. From civil rights to the environment to space to containing communism to opposing fascism to workers' rights to social security to the sassy, karate-chopping girls we're now raising... NONE of those are rooted in your party. At the MIDDLE or tactical level, there are a few exceptions (hear the balance?) Reagan's brute force Sumo confrontation with the USSR - while risky to the point of lunacy - did indeed work. It shattered the brittle empire and he deserves credit for pushing the end game of George Marshall's great plan. And Nixon to China was a brilliant stroke. If Condi Rice had done the same as Kissinger and sent W to Tehran, the Middle East would be transformed. We'd have eliminated the Ayatollahs AND Saddam AND the Riyadh threat at a stroke. If she had done that, I would have eagerly & quickly given full points. That's balance. Which you will never show, even though the Balkans War was a PERFECT success story in every way, the ideal example of how 21st Century Pax Americana SHOULD pull its weight around for the good of civilization. The opposite in every way to the maniacal stupidity of the present bloody quagmire. Oh, and AFGHANISTAN! If you were balanced you'd give EQUAL credit to W and to Clinton, since Bush had the balls to say "Go!" .... ... But the war plan was utterly and completely Clinton's already in place and ready to go. This undisputable fact would be open knowledge if it weren't desperately urgent for the monsters to suppress it. Feh. I'm balanced & I got nothin' to prove to you. > > Sure, you gave a speech to the Libertarians once - > but that hardly implies > a balanced viewpoint between > Republicans and Democrats.
