One of the areas that sets BRL-CAD apart from the various commercial web CAD offerings is that we're an open system. Having users store their geometry in "our cloud" could be quite an interesting future. As 3D geometry becomes more pervasive, having a web interface will help us leverage BRL-CAD's features to an even more broad audience. This may even help us bridge 3D capability to other online services like Wikipedia. Cheers!
