That may or may not be a fair comparison.  I know adults who still  
don't understand text-messaging (or even that Internet thing), but  
know of pre-teens who use nothing but to "talk" with their friends.

But I defer to Dave and others who have worked with the kids.

I agree, if we have sufficient invites.  But we probably should first  
come to a consensus of whether or not we even introduce them to web- 
mail, pop-mail, or both.  Again, I'm not the one with the most  
experience with the kids.  So, while I give my opinion (web-mail:  
yes), I'll defer to others.
