I'm with top posting every time, my apologies to all the other long-time NG readers, but top posting with proper snipping is far closer to normal conversation and reduces bandwidth as well.
When we chat face-to-face in a group we don't say "Jim said xxxx and I think .....", and we don't say "Jim said xxxx after Bill said yyyy and Fred said zzzz" (ooops, sorry if I've just put you all to sleep <g>).
