I know I already replied to this, but after sending something else hit
me
Since the fetus is still in the mother's body, anything that her body
does to the child is "direct physical action" as her body is in constant
contact with the child
If her body expells the fetus early, it was her body that had the direct
physical action which caused the "child" to be dead
Just because it wasn't a conscious thought, doesn't mean that the
mother's body isn't directly responsible
Otherwise people who kill others without it being a conscious thought,
it wouldn't be murder or manslaughter
