its a Real Estate Property Management application that allows a
company to manage its:

  applicants
  traffic through the door
  marketing campaigns
  vacancy status reports
  move out checklists
  resident demographics

and some other stuff, along with reports and metrics based on the data
collected.  basically what she doesnt want is me to do this type of
application for anyone in her area, since she has imparted her
knowledge of that business to me, in order to make it.  im down with a
non-compete, and a 50/50 split if she happens to sell any version of
it, thats cool...

there is no current signed anythign betweeen us, longtime friends,
LONG time, and even some fun ;) way back between us...but that was
many moons ago.

anyway, as ive been building this, she is now starting to see how cool
it is, and that it woudl be a GREAT value to her competition to run
their places like hers.

so, she balked when i mentioned that most developers dont just SIGN
these kinds of things with no money involved.  and im like, i want
2500, that takes me off your competition, for a certain amount of
time, and we're good from there.  im not banking on her selling the
application, since her primary focus is her buldings/apts/ etc.... so,
thats why i want the cake upfront, not crazy is it?
