Remember Russel, most of the founding fathers were rich white guys who didn't want to pay for a war they had been agitating for. They weren't going to let the peons vote if they could help it. If it were not for those founders from New England, there's still be some major restrictions on who could vote - in other words it would still be rich white guys.
