Anyone in NYC to work yet so they can comment? Also i've heard from second hand sources of various unions (US postal workers union, several different major airline unions) and the peoples general view is that the unions suck for employees as well as employers. That the unions are out for themselves only and not really for the worker anymore.
But i am sure there are examples of unions that are fair and really care and try to protect the workers. I'm still hoping some of the locals will have some comments. I'm always curious to hear the local view on things. From farther away things seem to become more detached.
