No. It is not the 'known' terrorists. That is the sort of nationalistic tripe that some Americans would like to believe.
Sam, if they were 'known' terrorists why haven't they been brought in? You think there are thousands of 'known' terrorists in the US? The technologies are actually designed to monitor a vast number of communications and computers pick words, try to interpret context etc. and flag certain conversations. You think that the CIA/FBI Has a vast list of KNOWN terrorists that are operating in the United States? Please. They're tracking the local militia on the corner, the ACLU, the EFF and the kid who has a beef with bush and a daddy that's ex-military. They're tracking and monitoring ordinary citizens. You forget oh so quickly the report which stated the alarming number of FALSE and improper uses of the Patriot Act over the years! Americans seem to have no care or concern for their privacy, or their rights as citizens. They seem content to allow the state to subvert their Rights and to be proud and happy to lose the Freedoms that people in other countries hold dear and which their forefathers fought and died for, all in the name of stopping 'Terrorism'. Well you're welcomed to that sort of lifestyle. Where are your papers Herr Sam? Why don't you just go right now and get the GPS Tracking receiver implanted in your Scalp like a Good Citizen that monitors exactly where you are and anything you say? It WILL help stop Terrorism Sam! Do it now! Do it for your Country! *smirk* On 12/21/05, Sam <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Why must you always be so rude about everything? > Do you think breaking the Japanese code during WWII was also a bad thing? > You seem to think this means the government is spying on everyone in > the US.
