Well... to play devil's advocate is it sexual assault? If they're "in love" wouldn't that imply that sex is (at least somewhat) consensual? I means sure... nobody wants to see a dog held down and raped. But what if you, you know, romance her a little? Some flowers, a chew toy, some Snausages under candlelight? The dog may even initiate! Hell... my neighbor's dog initiates all up and down the mailman's leg nearly every day. (Sorry - I'm in a flippant mood. But seriously... can't we sort out the sexual issues of our own species before branching out?)
