I didn't attack you, I'm pointing out your ignorance about capitalism.

What you did was take a pile of unrelated events prosecuted by a bunch
of capitalists (like yourself) and ascribe a conspiracy to their
collective actions. I pointed out that I could do the same for you,
your friends, and your family.

You see, the truth is America isn't some nebulous overlord, it's just
a bunch of capitalists participating in the global economy just like
you do. You're an "American"! (That's the irony of your propaganda)
You're like a guy in a yellow shirt telling the world how ugly the
color yellow is. "Down with capitalism! Now where's my PS2 ..."

Has America fecked over a bunch of people to protect her interests?
YUP. Has she done this unfairly? Most likely.

But that's the conundrum of capitalism: it's good relies on a
destructive trait of human nature, greed.

Every socio-economic system ever invented is simply an attempt to
control greed. So the question is, which one causes the least amount
of pain? Democratic capitalism. Why?

(1.) It ensures (hopefully) that no one person or group's greed is the
ruling greed.
(2.) It allows each person to pursue their greed according to their wishes.
(3.) In allowing the equal pursuit of wealth, infrastructure is
created to assist the next person.

There are losers. Those that aren't talented will have
proportionately less, but, on the aggregate, even the poorest aren't
that bad off. Mexicans vote on that with their feet every day as do
10s of thousand of others. They come to America. In college I had a
friend from Trinidad.

And, yup, sometimes things get out of hand. ENRON. Global Crossing.
Maybe Pres Bush. But eventually these get put down and things change.
There's only 3 more years of Bush.

So. Is there an American conspiracy to dominate the Earth? Of course
not. Is there an American plan to protect her interests? Of course.
You should know. You live, act as, and profit from America every day.
Do you plan to dominate the Earth? Only as long as it takes to get a
PS3. But that's the beauty of capitalism. Just when you think you're
dominating the Earth, I'll come out with a better game box and then
it'll be my turn. Prepare to be dominated.
