>The students could meet at a cafe, or a friends house. The school needs
>to separate itself from religious events.

It was about 200 students, it would be hard to coordinate getting that many
people to a cafe or a friends house.

>The purpose of the neonazi group is to be discriminatory. It should not be
>allowed. But it doesnt' apply here because its not religious.

You thank they aren't religious, part of being a neonazi is religion. Have
you ever talked to one?

>And my problem with "a teacher willing to sponsor it" - shouldnt' be up to
>the students - a school sanctioned group shouldn't have to find their own
>faculty member, that should be provided by the school.

No, teachers are paid to teach during the day, after school they go home,
just like I do. The school doesn't provide people past the normal school
day. Teachers would have to paid extra if it were part of their job to
sponsor a club, much like coaches and tutors are paid extra. But these
clubs are not school sponsored.

>But the purpose of the school is not to teach any religion, nor favor any,
>thus they need to remove it completely.

No, the purpose of the school is to be a place where members of the
community come to learn, be with others of like interests,

>The problem is that your thinking on this is very simplistic - you believe
>majority rules, too bad for the rest of us. The problem with this thinking
>is that it excludes the rights of others if the majority wants it to. Our
>forefathers were smart enough to recognize this and ensure that all of us
>should be equally able to get an education without the religion of another
>infringing on us.

I think you are making it more complicated than it really is. A group of
people meeting in the school. after school hours, and with no additional
money from the school, should be allowed to meet at the school as long as
what they are doing is not illegal.

>A club is not an assembly unfortunate. A club is a group sanctioned by the
>school. A group of students are welcome to meet and discuss the bible at
>lunch. But the school is not permitted to have an official "lunch bible
>study".

It is not an official school sponsored event!

>No, I am attempting to show you how having a teacher preach islam or
>christianity to my jewish athiest children is an infringement on my rights.

No, it is not, It is only in infringement if it some way hinders you and
your children from practicing what you believe. It is a waste of your tax
dollar if a teacher is doing it in class and not teaching the specified
curriculum. But it does not infringe on your rights. You do not have to
right to keep others from talking, you have to right to talk.
