Oh, and post workout is a GREAT time for that sourdough bread.

there's a great concept I use called "nutrient timing" which basically
means getting your macro-nutrients when your body needs them to do
what you want done.

This means high gi carbs only after workouts (bread, fruit juice,
candy, cake) and never more than 2 hours after.  Low carb after 3pm.

Ideally they say high gi + whey in the morning and after workouts, low
gi carbs up until some cutoff time, and no carbs before bed.

If you're building muscle, casein all day and before bed.
