Exactly - if it works for you, do it! As for supplements I can say that BY FAR the best supplement is fish oil. I buy the NOW brand and/or the COSTCO stuff as it's cheap and effective (and safe). I won't go in to details, but IT WORKS. I take about 10-15 regular strength fish oil pills per day and then add it krill oil from mercola.com. There's all kinds of controversy around balancing your DHA and EPA and different research on which is better. Then there's the overall balance of omega-3s and omega-6s. I dunno, but I can say that fish oil cures all my ills. As an FYI, if you don't take too much whey, you might want to switch to micellar casein. The reason is that casein is slow digesting and gives you aminos for up to 8 hours which means a positive "nitrogen balance". In other words, whey digests fast and is gone. If you need protein a few hours later and don't have it your body will grab it from lean muscle mass. Casein helps avoid this. I've noticed a large difference. Here's my general rules of thumb around protein: Meal 1: casein Meal 2: casein Workout: BCAAs + whey Post-workout (immediately!!): High GI carbs, I use Pom Juice. Lots of Whey. This ensures your lifting doesn't turn catabolic. Meal 3: casein If I don't use powder for casein, I use 2% or less cottage cheese (or strained) and maybe eggs. Cottage cheese is a wonder food. In the supplement world it's basically Milk Protein Isolate (MPI). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:284361 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
