So, you equate forcing someone to take financial responsibility for willingly engaging in dangerous behavior as someone else trying to kill them? Seems to me the person engaging in the wreckless behavior is trying to kill themselves. Honestly, I think that someone who knowingly and wilingly inhales know carcinognes on a regular basis has a death wish. Your button/bullet analogy is a poor one. It in no way matches, even remotely, any of the circumstances which we are trying to discuss. The biggest difference is that the weapon killing these people is cigarettes, and it is a weapon they yeild themselves.
