Especially when they're enforced to the letter just for the sake of enforcing 'em. I get that it works for some people. I get that it works for you, and it works for others in the community I lived in. Doesn't work for me. I'm all for making sure my neighbor can't leave a junked car up on blocks on his front lawn. But I think some of the "lifestyle" rules... rules that govern what I can or cannot do *inside* of my own home (such as opening it up to an extended family member in an emergency situation)... sorry. To me, that's just too intrusive. I paid for the house (well, I took out a loan). I own the house (well, the bank owns the house). I just can't come to terms with somebody telling me what I can or can't do inside of it. Ain't my thing. Sad part is... my wife and I have been "window shopping" for houses in a town called Tracy. It's east of the east bay area... but that's where houses start to get affordable. We looked at one in a neighborhood called "Redbridge". Gorgeous neighborhood. Gorgeous houses. We both fell in love. But it's HOA and I just don't seem to be HOA kind of people. -- I have failed as much as I have succeeded. But I love my life. I love my wife. And I wish you my kind of success. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:289186 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
