Yeah, but my point was that one of Bremmer's big mistakes was dissing ALL Baath party members no matter what the in situ occupation plan was. The reason is because as the was trying to put in place a new government they eliminated all kinds of great candidates for positions simply because they were Baath party members which, as I pointed out, could be meaningless. So my question was shouldn't we avoid the same mistake in Afghanistan? In other words just because someone is a member of party A or party B shouldn't be sufficient to disqualify them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:291137 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
