Yeah, but my point was that one of Bremmer's big mistakes was dissing
ALL Baath party members no matter what the in situ occupation plan
was.

The reason is because as the was trying to put in place a new
government they eliminated all kinds of great candidates for positions
simply because they were Baath party members which, as I pointed out,
could be meaningless.

So my question was shouldn't we avoid the same mistake in Afghanistan?
 In other words just because someone is a member of party A or party B
shouldn't be sufficient to disqualify them.
