"Nobody cares" is blatantly false. Have you seen some of the stuff a
*lot* of R's have been saying about The Gays? How many D's say shit
like that?

Life is an interesting concept. Caring about it, too.

How is it ok to fry criminals (even though our justice system is
flawed, so we could be (and are) frying innocents), when life is so
sacred? How is it ok to go to war before we've exhausted all the
other options, if life is so important?

There's no nebulous "are they really alive" type arguments there, but
I don't see the "pro-life" folks all up in arms about it.

Obama was not the only Democrat running, was he? It was nice to vote
for someone, instead of against someone else. I liked Ron Paul too.
LOL. Ah, life.

The "individual" is awesome, but our system isn't run by individuals.
When *way too many* votes come down to party lines (especially on the
R side!), you can't ignore what the party stands for.

A Republican telling a Democrat about Group Think. That's rich. =)

I'm pretty sure there are Democratic deals where you can't get in
unless you sign a form saying you agree with everybody else there.
Not.

Short term less profit, vs. long term more profit. People who only
get one marshmallow, because they can't delay their gratification long
enough to get two.

I'm not the one saying he has all the answers.

Isn't is "sluggishly" moving up now?

Yes, and I *love* Obama. You are the one dealing in absolutes, not I.

You don't want to, because you are infatuated with Obama.

It's not "feeling", it's history. Not that the Dems have been much better.

Change my opinion by not saying shit like "they deserve torture", and
"if you're not doing anything wrong you've nothing to fear".

Bah. We all need to rage against the machine on this one. =)

No, I'm talking about removing the checks on power, and the idea that
since they had the power already, we don't need the checks. Maybe
that was Rob's argument though.

Do you mean nothing happened, or that it was just individuals and not "us"?

You said the stuff that, didn't happen(?), was ok to do because it was
only 3 people and they deserved it. You, personally, said that. In
this very thread.

I'm talking about putting, and keeping, that mentality in power. Your
brand of mentality.

The chick deserved the head step. The terrorists deserved the
water-boarding. That it should be *legal* to listen in on citizens
telephone calls (even with the caveat that it's only the over-seas
ones). That Religion is getting "pushed out" of the Government. That
the government should be deciding who lives and who dies, and what
constitutes "life". &c.

Because fuckers like you try to justify the crap instead of just
saying it's wrong. :)

I say fucker in an endearing way. I consider you a friend, tho our
viewpoints differ.

I don't think America is evil. I love America. We can be fuckers
sometimes, but who can't?

America FUCK YEAH!
