And now you know they don't. That's the whole point of this exercise.

We have progress.

Because they're not hurting but they seem to go to a lot of trouble to
convince you they are.

It's worse than the tea party stuff you came up with.

No sense of humor?

A lot of rude and childish insults, not so much funny.

Obviously by your link the theme was to insult the tea party, Beck,
Palin and O'Donnoly and praise Obama.
It was a very white crowd, kind of surprised none of them were
offended by the guy who said Salman Rushdie should die and woman
adulterers should be stoned to death being on stage. Almost like the
endorse that type of fear. It was about fear too wasn't it?

I thought I just proved you wrong? What will it take to convince you?
Oh yeah, the anti-war demonstrators are allowed to be haters because
you don't like war.
Does that mean you endorse their comments?

You put those words in your mouth, not me. It was your text.

Didn't you put those words in my mouth?

I'm not bothered by it like you are. You know you do it and I know you
do it. Who else is there?

About?

> Anyways, I didn't claimed my side doesn't have *any*.  Yours just has more.

And that's the problem, you need to realize you're wrong, you're
biassed to think that, you are being selective as to who represents
each side. You seem to always fall back on a tea-party video that
talks to three people out of many. Get a larger sample to make your
point.

Easily distracted :)

The Media? I didn't see one sign of your top 100 mocking the media.
Unless you consider Glen Beck and Sarah Palin the media.

This wasn't about CBS, ABC or NBC it was about two or three people
that were at the Beck rally.

> I guess it's all about the messenger, and not the message, with you, neh?  =)p

Was there a message? The message was Stewart and Colbert are not funny
and their writers suck.
That's the message I got. The message you got was the media is fucked
up. In what way did they say the media was fucked up. Please elaborate
because I missed that joke.

> Oh yeah, because he's a freaking Obama lover!  (do you see a theme here yet?)

No, because if you criticize what Obama is doing you are insane. Ah
yes, that was the theme.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-11-01/jon-stewart-rally-shows-how-the-left-blew-it/
Here's a cute bit:
The Tea Partiers, in other words, are making a serious argument, which
the left too often tries to dismiss by calling them nuts. In fact, the
haughtiness reflected by such insults conceals the left’s confusion
over how to respond ideologically. The Obama administration has barely
tried to argue that activist government can make people more free—by,
for instance, guaranteeing their health care coverage and thus freeing
them to leave a dead end job. In America today, as at past moments in
our history, there’s a profound debate underway not just about how to
right our economy but about the relationship between capitalism and
freedom. Pretending it’s not a real debate is a great way for the left
to lose.

He's got a good point and you're guilty of it too.

> He never criticizes-- ok, hardly ever-- ok, well-- still, he's like,
> *totally* biased!  He's like the Limbaugh of the Left!

Funny you should say that. From the above Daily Beast post:

Maybe it’s not fair to blame Jon Stewart for all this. He’s a
comedian, after all. But he’s the left’s closest equivalent to Rush
Limbaugh or Glenn Beck. And while they’re busy struggling to recreate
the America of William McKinley, he’s acting as if our biggest problem
is that people shout at each other on the tube. For a guy as talented
as Stewart, that’s insane.

> The "implication" is that "activist news", and extremist viewpoints,
> are hindering discussion.

Wow, the Daily Beast (isn't that a left wind publication), just said
that's what Stewart is doing. Odd that, from your own side.

> Like what me and you practice. (but mostly you.)  ;)p

Or you.

> And I posted a quote of his about laughter, when you said he'd "love" Beck.

I didn't notice it. So you think skipping debate and instead
ridiculing your opponents, or enemies as Obama puts it, would make Mr
King proud?

> Was Beck's message one of unity with the "opposition"?  When he said

The side that wants to talk about the spending, that wants to hold the
government responsible for their votes. The ones that went to the town
halls last year and begged reps not to pass the stimulus and not to
pass health care. But according to you if they don't take up arms we
should ignore them.

Do you hate religion so much that you think it divides us? What ever
happened to the free exercise of religion?

He was acting. He did make some pretty funny points.

> DON'T CALMLY TRY TO WORK TOGETHER!  IT'S A TRICK!

That seems to be the theory of the left, that's why they canceled the
town hall meetings, why they disconnected the phones and held locked
door meetings in the middle of the night. 3000 pages that you have to
read to find out whats in it.

> THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE, AND STUFF!

We're doing it the right way. Today is the day things get set right, hopefully.

> I thought your side was "we", as in, you know, the country?  Which is

I don't know, I'm what you consider the enemy, Obama's word, but I've
never been to a tea-party rally and I don't consider my self a member
but I will defend them against baseless claims. Sometimes I forget if
I'm defending myself or the tea-party and can't be bothered to re-read
the thread to find my place :)

> Remind me to put more stock in polls than I do in people again,

Just pointing out your base group of left that criticize the left is
getting smaller. Maybe Stewart just needs to maintain his audience.

Whew, that's a relief, because I don't.

> Some shit I like, some shit I don't like.  I weigh the two.  Mix 'n match 'em.

It's the big shit I don't like, I'm sure once I get passed all that I
can find plenty that I like. Priorities again.

Is that a trick question?

So you like:
Health Care reform
The Stimulus
Giving GM to the Union
Oil Spill response
Expanding the War on Drugs
Expanded wire taping
Making people thing the tea partiers are racists
His work with Iran

Nope, Obama's ending the wars and with that the war powers act.

What is the time frame you expect a recovery by? And how do you determine that?
When should I expect unemployment to drop to say 7%?
And how much more money should be give to bank execs before that number drops?

Obviously not.
