That's pretty much the same as me. Dad taught us all to shoot a very young age to kill the snakes that infested the farm on occasion. I started with handguns in my early teens. I love to target shoot. Cannot imagine aiming at a person. But I did take a mugger out with a tire iron so I guess I would react appropriately if the occasion arose and I had a weapon near.
