For that matter so is needle sharing, but you do not see the hostility towards drug addicts that you see towards gay people. > >Homosexuality isn't a disease, it is a choice, or a mindset, or a >lifestyle. It should not be attacked, nor should the people. However >people should understand what they are getting into when they practice >unsafe sex of any type, especially types where the body was not designed >to handle. A choice? What data do you have to back that one up. The scientific data overwhelmingly shows that its biologically based, consistency around 10 to 15% of the population are gay, regardless of culture. That's not a choice. I did a short Medline search and found over 600 articles published in peer reviewed journals on the topic. About 10 of those did not support the biologically based hypothesis. Of those, most of them were letters to the editor. In other words you're talking out of ignorance here. As for unnatural acts - how is it unnatural, birds and animals engage in homosexual acts. It happens. larry > > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: William Wheatley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] >> Sent: Thursday, January 23, 2003 1:13 PM >> To: CF-Community >> Subject: Re: This is compassionate conservatism? >> >> lets think of it this way >> >> calling aids the gay scourge >> >> would be like me or someone >> calling cancer the smokers disease >> >> make any more sense now? > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
