The undercover cops stem more from militant anarchists, socialists and environmentalists that are using the war and the protests to further their agendas. The whole anti-globalist movement, we really do have problems with it here. Remember WTO?

It worries me, for example, the undercover police among peaceful protesters is considered business as usual. It worries me that network television is playing feel-good clips of stirring music and the the American flag before the news, under the guise of "supporting our troops." That particular phrase bothers me a lot. I support the troops, but I question this war; when did that become somehow incompatible? I see public discourse becoming more and more Orwellian and it is happening *here* where there actually safeguards against that kinda thing. Do I think this scenario will come to pass? I.. hope not. Is it possible? I am afraid so. I am betting on the strengths of America, but that doesn't mean that I don't see any dangers to the current situation...
