I have a 5 year old son (just turned monday) who is an absolutely amazing
boy. But at that age there is one phrase that seems to fit his behaviour
"Lack of impulse control". Even the threat of spankings only minimalized the
bad behaviour at school. It seems to me to be a phase that we just have to
live through. I can control his actions at home, but at school, well you
know....

See Dan knows me and my litter. While I love my children. they are quite a
handful. My oldest (3) is having quite a bout with disciplinary problems at
school. Just today he was sent to the office three times, twice for
throwing, and once for hair pulling. We are at our wits ends, he can be
such a beautiful and amazing child, but at other times he is almost
unmanageable. I hate to say it, but we might even have to take him to "see
someone". I mean he has hurt and almost hurt his baby brother on several
occasions, and just will not listen. Gets himself hurt all the time.

Anyone know anything about early childhood development? I mean not the kind
that has been developed in the past 40 years or so, but the kind where you
raise children that speak Latin and obey their parents. :)

underclassed overbreeding is what pisses me off about reproduction, not the
want to have 'em.
