I will assume that you didn't bother to read the document I sent in response
to Jerry Johnson.

I lashed out at you because I am sick if the American people's inability to
make a decision and stick with it.  To take responsibility for their own
actions.  You are more correct than you know comparing this to Vietnam.
Whiney civilians and political infighting will not allow our government to
support it's troops 100% of the way.  It will become a war of attrition,
seeing how many deaths the US population will allow before we either have to
come home in shame, or they actually let loose the dogs of war to go where
ever we need to to strike at the root of this problem (Iran, Syria, Saudi
Arabia if needed).

"Do we loose 10-15 soldiers a week in regular duty?? "

More actually:

Our rates have been declining a lot recently, and they are higher than the
years just prior, but still considering the situation are more than
tolerable.

Today is my sons birthday.  He turns four.  I have to leave, but I would
like to get back to this.

that's bullshit my views are what I decide is right and if you want to
be a dick and start putting me down well hopefully you won't die in the
line of duty for a president who
is in risking throwing our country into another Vietnam for a reason
even stupider then Vietnam was.
Do we loose 10-15 soldiers a week in regular duty?? If so show me the
#'s. You can do all your preaching that you served in the military but
it doesn't make you one lick better then anyone else. I've seen studies
that only people who really have no other future enlist into the
military you don't see me using that to say oh you were too stupid to do
anything but go into the military and you were a loser. I was in the
process of joining the navy and in the process of a scholarship to
Perdue and navy rotc but because I opted for a private job doesn't mean
jack shit. And as well as the fact that we're not at war, we're in a
conflict because of our president I saw support given for him to do what
he had to do but we're not in a state of war big difference, though the
republicans and bush administration does not choose to think that way.

I liked you alot but for you to start saying shit like that, hell no.
Much less I was talking about losses in the military not your former
division alone. People who are a little open minded and do not have a
hard head and can think freely will always change views. Only a person
who is stubborn and does not like change will never change their stances
or views on anything. Back when we were going to invade Iraq I said I
guess its the right thing to do at the time while in the same breathe
saying how terrible the bush administration is because its a fact they
are. Besides if you think about it there will always be 2 sides to the
most commonly held opinion. There will be the republican (Right wing)
side and the democratic (left wing) side. On gun control I'm on the
republican side, on bush I'm on the democratic side etc etc down the
line. If you think Clinton was as bad as bush really go fight his war
for him and think you're doing something for a great man who should be
on mount Rushmore.

But don't you dare ever EVER say or even think you are better then
someone because you served in the military because that's a crock of
shit dude.  That's elitist crap and its hogwash if I ever saw it. You
know I liked you alot but people who put me down and talk shit about me
screw that I don't need that. I'm sorry you're going through rought
times and all but that's no excuse to be a jerk dude, or whatever reason
you have is. As for responsibility if someone attacked our country and
they needed me I would be the next person in line to go out but when you
have a family you know its not always that easy to do. And my reasons
for not going through with Perdue are my own and nobody else's and how
dare you try to judge me because of it. So does it mean since I didn't
go into the military I am not as good as you?  GRR man WTF that was
really upsetting to me with what a dick you were being to me? I mean you
can debate Dana till you're blue in the face but with me you just throw
personal attacks oh yes all the porn and games I jerk off to WTF man
Jesus. And to even think you have the knowledge or even the right to say
I swing to whatever the popular opinion is. OHH I wasn't in the military
i don't know anything, but i'm tim i have access to stats that normal
people don't get oh yes we had so many people dieing in training
accidents. OH yes on training duty and such we always had to worry about
the crazy man with a bomb driving into our building. LOL

Thats messed up

Hey Bill,

There is a check box in Outlook that has it automatically spell check
everything you send out.

"what did Clinton do that came anywhere close to the USA Patriot Act?"

Echelon anyone? http://www.fas.org/irp/program/process/echelon.htm,
<http://www.fas.org/irp/program/process/echelon.htm,>  no
knock searches on federal low-income housing?  Mandatory sentencing for
drug offenders?

"i don't recall getting our country embroiled into a foreign conflict
that is starting to stretch on with the looks of stretching on
indefinately."

Kosovo?  Bosnia?  They don't look to be ending either.

"We might not have had to fight china because of our Last presidents
charisma and his ability to get deals done and work things out"

If you call sending them every single U.S. patent on CDs and selling
them a naval base on U.S. property, through which they were caught
smuggling in hundreds of Ak-47s getting things done.  I am still not
comfortable with the counter Intel investigations that took part during
his presidency.

"The current president has been anti-un for the most part"

And this is bad why?

"becoming more belligerant and becoming if you aren't with us you're
aganist us"

That's how I feel.  Remember nations don't have friends, they have
interests, and if your not doing what we want, you're working against
our interests.

"You are talking about going back onto active duty do you really want to
be embroiled in Iraq for the foreseeable future with a much more real
threat of dieing on any given day as opposed to standard non-war
footing"

Don't talk about this.  You don't know what you're talking about.  The
82nd is currently losing fewer troops than it does during regular
training rotations from jumps and training accidents.  We loose people
in Eastern Europe, and in Asia, you just don't hear about it.  You don't
hear about the people we lose in support of our foolish drug war.  You
don't hear about the people we lose in Indonesia fighting Islamists
there.  The reason you're hearing about the deaths in Iraq is a
political one.

I don't want to go and fight anyone's war.  I want to defend the young
troops we have in the ranks.  I want to take what I have learned and
used to try and protect some of my closest friends.  Finally, our
country is at war.  I don't have to agree with the reasons for that war.
The authorized, constitutional head of our armed forces put them in
harms way.  That's enough for me.  I am sorry Bill that you don't feel
that responsibility.

Might take away from you're video game and porn time I guess.

I don't know why I even bother arguing with you.  You are spoon fed by
the media.  Your views sway in the wind with what you perceive is the
most commonly held opinion.
