If I made the sauce ... and the dough ... and exclaimed over my culinary
concoction with much glee that I made from scratch .. have I truly then
made it from scratch?
Did I make the cheese? Did I make the sausage meat? Did I make the
pepperoni? How about the ham? Did I grow the olives? Or the mushrooms?
Did I fish for the anchovies?
(no we did not have all these toppings on our pizza.)
Can one ever really TRULY make a pizza from scratch then? :D :P
