Dave read me right. The code is not a kludge, the install, and the runtime is a 
kludge. 

Yes, if we were to release for OS/X, we would do it right. 

As for interest, it is being discussed, however, porting to a new operating system 
takes a great deal of resources.

I learned this the hard way:
