Actually most of the problems were due to my lack of expertise with 'Nix and Java.
1) The startup shell script was developed by me with info from Jesse (It is Gross). Christian Cantrell cleaned this up and made one comparable to the MM version (without a C++ program launch) 2) I used Linux tar to compress the Linux install files, then OS X tar to expand them -- you need to use gnutar or pathnames over 100 char are truncated 3) Took a long time to figure out how to get CFMX to find the non-MM jdbc drivers (including the MM provided PointBase Driver)-- Put them in /Library/Java/Extensions 4) Web services still doesn't work -- being looked at by MM. 5) verity and other Intel-specific C programs will not work That's about it!
