Steve, I knew I could count on some of your constructive criticism (no offence intended)..

 

 

Couple reasons why

1. Expense  
   Too much? 
2. Power blackout  
   UPS? 
3. ADSL server falls over  
   I assume you mean the company providing the ADSL? If so, can't a normal line fall over too? I had a 128Kbps frame-relay line and it was sometimes out for days. 
4. Software requirements 
   ? 
5. Hardware requirements 
   ?
