don't forget that the market will pay what the market cam afford. Does MM care about smaller than "enterprise" markets?
what is better? 1 licence at $12k or 12 licences at $1k ? the sweeter the nectar, the more bees are attracted... and from what I've read, it's $12k to get flex going - min 2 cpu. you have to have a dev box to work with to factor in. To come back to topic, I've worked with ITOs that freak at CF costs, esp on windows network where ASP/ASP.NET is but a free install away (complete with monthly security updates - crazy!). Similar for PHP (but I'd never touch PHP again until the Zend 2 engine/PHP5 is sorted).
