I think the problem was that all us CF developers associated the words
"Macromedia" and "enterprise" with "ColdFusion Enterprise" which is still
relatively affordable. As it turns out, ColdFusion Enterprise is not really
"enterprise" at all. Or at least only half as much as Flex :)
Yeah, I can see how that 'confusion' would occur. When I got my head around CFMX I couldn't believe it was so cheap - even the Enterprise edition at $3k per CPU (effectively) is just such a total bargain if you come from the land of six figure systems...
ColdFusion has spoiled many of us!
