That's the point entirely -- Firefox loads them without any hiccup as
does IE. :(

But, it appears it is the size -- I've trimmed them down and they load
quicker on startup. Still ...

On a related note; Firefox 3.6 alpha or whatever it is that is
available for download now; runs circles around the versions of
Google-Chrome/Chromium I have on this Linux laptop (current develp.
versions). Not happy to report that as I prefer Chrome's UI over that
of Firefox. So, I hope that Chrome catches up.
