Still on the functionality issue, one thing that may or may not be easy to do, but would help a lot is to create shortcuts to toggle between the "copy and paste" and "drag and drop" editing modes. Every now and then, when I use "dn'd", only the video is dragged and the audio just stays there, so I do most of my editing using "cn'p". But it would be nice to toggle between them only using the keyboard...
The bezier curves would also be more than welcome and, as someone wrote, a more improved way of using curves with the histogram (as in gimp, for example) would be astonishing. Thumbs up to everyone. I also am of the opinion that Cinelerra rocks!
