Dear List,
I am at my wits end and have turned to the list for suggestions. My
neighbor's two dogs continue to dig holes under my six foot wooden privacy
fence to get in my yard. These poor dogs are left in their back yard
unattended most of the time. I complain each time to Animal Control, and my
Homeowners Association, but the problem continues (for over a year). I live
in a very nice subdivision, I just happen to have "the neighbors from hell".
I am afraid to let my Cavalier go outside alone because I never know if
these dogs are hiding in my yard and might attack my dog. They do bark
loudly at him from their side of the fence when we go outside. I continue
to repair the holes they have dug, and replant the grass only to have them
dig two foot holes under my fence almost every time I water or when it
rains. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Becky Michael
