Gosh I can't believe the Town had an ordinance when it was on "YOUR"
property. But then again perhaps I can as all the laws these days seem to
be protecting the ones doing WRONG.
We have a perfectly beautiful 4ft black chain link with plantings in front,
etc. as we wanted the breeze and view but the neighborhood kids and dogs
would come and stand and gaze at the Cavaliers, and we all know what that
prompted, digging and barking. To solve that problem we ran a very low
voltage (feels like a pinch as I tested it) 8" high wire 2-3" in front of
the black chain link, with the green plastic posts and wire you could not
see it (confirmed by the yard man who regularly mows it down - he says and I
quote "I can't see it" . The wire worked beautifully as the Cavaliers can
see it (unlike underground wire) so we had no more digging, but one cannot
control the neighborhood kids and dogs (all friendly I must add) but Paducah
has a NOISE ordinance so once again we looked to solve another problem, the
barking so up went the 6 ft cedar privacy fence.

. So I guess what I am saying, is because of "others" we have 2 fences
and a wire. We all protect our dogs, they don't run or bark incessently,
like the outdoor kennel dogs do all night long -yet we are constantly under
attack , justice, what is that?

Perfect example, Diane, you moved perhaps you would have anyway but that was
surely part of the equasion. Does anyone agree?
