CKCSC is no different from the AKC or any corporation. Change always takes
time. The AKC didn't take into consideration puppy mills when they first
started their registry, but they are starting to now. CKCSC didn't take
into consideration AKC-only dogs when they first wrote their Code of Ethics,
but they are starting to now. Both are moving forward--slowly and
tentatively--in hopes of preserving the integreity and lifeblood of their
organization. Can you blame either for doing so? Does anyone really
believe either registry should have moved quickly/impulsively to implement
such high impact changes?
