         ooops....you caught me. I just finished posting a piece about how
it was OK to show in both venues if you weren't involved in the long ago
conflicts and totally forgot to think about possibilities of conflicting
codes of ethics. I have to admit that having always been considered by my
peers and my customers and myself, an ethical breeder, I simply do what I
do and don't read about what the club thinks I'm supposed to be doing.
Memberships in dog clubs for me have always been "for fun", for
socialization, for education, and for sharing common interests. Maybe
that's because I was showing labradors before there were any regional clubs
and my ethics and business practices were well established by the time the
clubs came into being. Anyway, I will revise my previous post to say I
don't think it is hypocritical to show in both venues UNLESS the individual
club's codes of ethics or rules of any kind are in conflict. Then I think
you have to make a choice. I stand corrected.....
