All of this rather boring old history has come to my mind after having a
very interesting conversation with a fellow new to the breed.
He phoned wanting to use one of my dogs and brought up the old/new
past...and I was very amused with the rewriting of history.
It seems, from this fellows view, the late Bob Smith tried gallently to lead
the club to the AKC but was defeated at every turn.
Now anyone who was there knows Bob led the war against AKC. He helped to
form that group..what was it ? the cavalier defense league?? or some other
nonsense.
I do know Bob was sorry that he choose the path he took, nevertheless he did
take it. And it will take a very long time to correct it..it it can in fact
and in deed be corrected.
