Talk about re-writing history indeed.
However, I never heard the part about being sorry. I just remember that the
Smiths were among the very first to show their dogs in the AKC after they
were recognized.....certainly their right, but it did give less credibility
to their cries for protecting the breed.
I remember the venom and the vindictiveness. If he were truly sorry he would
not have insisted on such extreme measures against those who disagreed with
him in the first place.
