bob was sorry after the fact...months after.
I believe he felt he could actually make the AKC do things his way.
Of course he couldn't..and as he realized that and saw how much the club had
lost he tried to "fix" it. Of course by this time the members were so
worked up nothing could fix it.
I know he felt he had made the wrong decision, by the way, because he told
me so.
He also contacted AKC and asked if the club could be the parent club after
all...and of course they said no..that boat has sailed.
I'd like to see the club allow AKC dogs to enter their shows and to be
registered in the club. What's the harm...more competition? The no handlers
rule is a good one especially now...what a great way for the dogs to
improve.
There seems to be an atmosphere of fear and I can't understand what's to be
afraid of???
I know there is movement to allow AKC dogs only to be used for stud...and
that makes me wonder why...something's a foot..someone high ranking wants to
use a dog that is here or soon to come here that is AKC only.
