I agree with you completely, but not the part about there being a secret
agenda. There are many exhibitors who welcome the addition to the gene pool
as well as the added competition. For most of us, if we did not care about
the true assessment of our CKCSC champions we would not be showing in
whatever other venues we could find. I don't know of any (personally) CKCSC
champions that are not also shown in the AKC. I think you will see that
most of the CKCSC champions also show up, not only at local AKC shows but at
the AKC specialty shows as well. I believe the movement is due to the
efforts of members who have forced the changes. I know much of the proding
is due to the efforts of Mary Grace Eubank who headed the study committee and
has fought very hard to bring about as quick a resolution as possible.
