Yes lots of reasons. Puppy millers, and less then ethical breeders, those in
it for the money, etc.... this is more then likely what kind of people would
have started such a club. These people do not care about the welfare of
Cavaliers but they are not stupid. They know how to work systems and
politics if you doubt that look at what the puppy millers do within the
system. If these kinds of people started the club instead of those who
wanted to pre-empt the possibility of something like this...... you would NOT
have been able to prance in and take over. They would have set the rules and
by-laws to protect their interest.
I'm glad the 12 didn't leave that opportunity open even if some feel it was a
small exposure.
